Line Park
A parked call line
appearance can be
assigned as a
programmable “
Parked
Call Line
” key by the
administrator. When
connected to a caller, the
call can be parked by
pressing the
Parked Call
Line
key. If a call is
parked at a Parked Call
Line, the button’s light is
on. The call can be picked
up by pressing the
Parked
Call Line
key.
•
Go to
AltiGen IP Phone
Configuration
on the
Management Menu, go to the
desired extension, and set the
appropriate function key to
Line
Park
.
•
When configured by the
administrator, the IP phone can
play an audible beep or one of 12
different ring tones when a call is
parked.
•
When configured by the
administrator, an
alternate
way to
pick up a parked call is to use
#51
<line number> if Line Park is not
assigned to a soft key.
•
The
Parked Call Line
key’s light
will be lit and turns off when the
parked call is picked up, the caller
hangs up, or the call is routed to
IVR/Auto Attendant.
Mute button
While on a call, mutes
conversation.
•
Feature does not require special
configuration to work.
Program Soft
Keys
Lets users associate a soft
key with a speed dial
number or feature code
directly from the IP
phone.
•
In AltiAdmin, go to
AltiGen IP
Phone Configuration
on the
Management Menu, go to the
desired extension, and set the
appropriate function key to
Phone
Setting
. The user will be able to
configure this key from the IP
phone menu, under
PHONE
SETTINGS > PROGRAM KEYS
.
Redial button
Redials a selected number
from the last16 numbers
dialed.
•
Feature does not require special
configuration to work.

Redials up to 32 digits.
Release
button
Releases a call from the
connected state. Deletes
characters entered on the
LCD. While onhook,
releases phone from an
active state.
