7.5.2. Draining the Cooling System
1. Place a container under the
DRAIN
port.
2. Connect the white elbow fitting of the water filling/draining kit to the DRAIN
port on the system service panel, as shown in Figure 7-5. Make sure that the
elbow fitting clicks into the port's quick connector.
3. Connect the funnel tube of the water filling/draining kit to the
VENT
port on
the system service panel, as shown in Figure 7-5. Make sure that the elbow
fitting (of the funnel tube) clicks into the port's quick connector.
4. Turn the elbow fitting downwards (into the container) to start the flow of water
from the reservoir into the container (see Figure 7-5).
5. Once the water stops dripping from the elbow fitting, disconnect the funnel
tube and the elbow fitting from the cooling system ports by pushing the
metallic lever on each quick-connector, as shown in Figure 7-4.
