3.4. Connecting the Footswitch
The footswitch supplied with the system is pneumatically operated for increased
safety.
To connect the footswitch, connect the footswitch's black tube to the connection
port on the system's service panel (shown by the arrow in Figure 3-2).
Note
Connecting the footswitch is necessary only if you prefer to use
the footswitch for RF emission. It is possible to emit RF pulses
using only the handpiece's trigger, in which case you may leave
the footswitch unconnected.

3.5. Filling the Coolant Reservoir
The cooling system's reservoir must be filled with deionized water. It is imperative
that the level of the water in the reservoir be checked every three months and
deionized water added if necessary.
