6.7.3. Set the Cooling Mode
The
Cooling
mode determines if the tissue cooling option is On or Off.
On the
Treatment
screen (see Figure 6-4) press the
Cooling
softkey to toggle the
cooling to on or off:
-
COOLING ON
(green) softkey indicates that the cooling mode is on
-
COOLING OFF
(red) softkey indicates that the cooling mode is off
6.7.4. Set the System to Ready Mode
On the Treatment screen (see Figure 6-4) press the green STBY softkey;
•
The system enters Ready mode
•
The RF emission indicators (both the red light on the control panel and the
blue LED on the handpiece) start blinking
Warning
Once the system is in
Ready
mode, pressing the trigger or the footswitch will
emit radiofrequency energy.
6.8. Emitting Radiofrequency Energy
1. Verify that the system is in
Ready
mode and that the operating parameters are
correct for the indication to be treated.
2. Place the handpiece firmly and completely in contact with the treatment area.
3. Push and hold the trigger or the footswitch;
•
The handpiece emits radiofrequency energy.
•
The RF emission indicators (both the red light on the control panel and the
blue LED on the handpiece) illuminate continuously
4. Keep the trigger or the footswitch pressed for the full duration of radio-
frequency energy emission.
5. Upon completion of the emission cycle, release the trigger or the footswitch;
The RF emission indicators (both the red light on the control panel and the
blue LED on the handpiece) start blinking.
