Blinking RF emission indicators after releasing the trigger
or the footswitch indicates that radiofrequency emission has
stopped and that the system is in
Ready mode.
•
To cease radiofrequency emission at, any time, release the
trigger/footswitch.
6.9. Pause in Operation
As a standard safety measure, whenever pulse light emission is not immediately
required, the system should be set to
Standby mode. If the operator should leave
the room, the system should be turned off as described in Section 6.13 and the key
removed from the keyswitch.
6.10. Changing Operation Parameters during Operation
Any of the operating parameters may be changed during operation as follows:
1. Release the trigger or footswitch.
2. Change from
Ready
to
Standby
mode by pressing the
StBy
softkey on the
control panel.
3. Change the setup parameters as desired.
4. Change from
Standby
to
Ready
mode by pressing the
StBy
softkey on the
control panel.
6.11. Saving the Settings
Every time the system is turned on it loads the default set of operating parameters
for the handpiece type (bipolar or unipolar) in use.
If desired, you can save your own set of parameters to replace the default settings
for the selected handpiece type.
Caution
Saving the settings deletes and overwrites the current default parameters (or any
previously-saved settings) for the selected handpiece type.
