6.7. Set the Operating Parameters
Note
If you want to use the default parameters, as they appear on the
Treatment
screen (see Figure 6-4), you may skip this section.
If you prefer not to use the default settings for the current treatment, you can
change any of the operating parameters as necessary.
The user-selectable operating parameters are:
•
Power
(see Section 6.7.1)
•
Time
(see Section 6.7.2)
•
Cooling
mode – on/off (see Section 6.7.3)
6.7.1.
Set the Power
1.
On the
Treatment
screen (see Figure 6-4) press the
Power [W]
softkey; the
Power Selector
appears pressed.
2.
Use the
V
or
W
softkeys to set the desired value in the
Power
indicator:
•
For the bipolar handpiece the power can be set between 20 – 110 Watts, in
increments of 2 Watts
•
For the unipolar handpiece the power can be set between 20 – 220 Watts,
in increments of 2 Watts
6.7.2.
Set the Time
1.
On the
Treatment
screen (see Figure 6-4) press the
Time [Sec]
indicator; the
Time
selector appears pressed.
2.
Use the
V
or
W
softkeys to set the desired value in the
Time
indicator:
•
For the bipolar handpiece the time can be set between 1 – 60 seconds, in
increments of 1 second
•
For the unipolar handpiece the time can be set between 1 – 60 seconds, in
increments of 1 second
