Configuring the DeviceNet Network

The Driver Configuration window will appear.

Configure the driver using the example above as a guide and click 
on 

OK

. The software will take a few seconds to configure the 

driver. When it is done the following prompt will appear:

Select the default driver name 

1770-KFD-1 

and click on 

OK.

7.

Close RSLinx.

You will use the driver you just configured to browse and configure 
the network with RSNetWorx for DeviceNet.

TIP

Your driver setup 
will depend on your 
particular system 
setup (COM port, 
baud rate, node 
address). Choose 
the appropriate 
settings for your 
system. We used the 
settings shown at 
right.
