Climb
Climb is performed with flaps retracted and maximum continuous power. For maximum rate of climb establish
the best rate of climb. If an obstacle clearance is required using a steep climb angle, establish the best angle of climb
speed.

CAUTION
If the coolant or oil temperature approaches or exceeds limits,
reduce the climb angle to increase airspeed and possibly return
within limits! If readings do not improve, troubleshoot causes
other than high power setting at low airspeed!

Cruise
Normal cruising is performed in the airspeed range 140
–
218 IAS / 76
–
118 KIAS and engine speeds range
from 4000
–
5500 rpm. In the case of turbulence reduce the cruising airspeed below 218 IAS / 118 KIAS to avoid
of aircraft overstressing. The optimum operation range is between 180
–
218 IAS / 97
–
118 KIAS.
