The SNMP allows you to custom your access control for version 1 and version 2
user. The router supports up to a maximum of 10 community sets.

The following table describes the items in the previous figure.
WAN Interface
Specify the WAN interface that a remote SNMP host can access to
the device.
By default,
All WANs
is selected, and there is no limitation for the
WAN interface.
Supported Versions
Select the version for the SNMP
When check the
v1
box: It means you can access SNMP by
version 1.
When check the
v2c
box: It means you can access SNMP by
version 2c.
When check the
v3
box: It means you can access SNMP by
version 3.
Remote Access IP
Specify the remote access IP for WAN.
Select
Specific IP Address
, and fill in a certain IP address. It
means only this IP address can access SNMP from LAN/
WAN side.
Select
IP Range
, and fill in a range of IP addresses. It means
the IP address within specified range can access SNMP from
LAN/WAN side.
If you left it as blank, it means any IP address can access SNMP
from WAN side.
SNMP Port
Specify the SNMP port. You can fill in any port number. But you
must ensure the port number is not to be used.
Value Range: 1 ~ 65535.

to save the settings.

Community
Specify this version 1 or version v2c user’s community that will be
allowed Read Only (GET and GETNEXT) or Read-Write (GET,
GETNEXT and SET) access respectively. The maximum length of
the community is 32.
