Cancel Key
Press the
Cancel
key to stop the current activity and return to the previous menu. Press repeatedly until the
desired menu level is reached. When a submenu item is displayed, press
Cancel
to exit the current display
and return to the previous menu.
Quick Key
Pressing the
Quick
key returns the front panel to the main menu.
Numeric Keypad
The numeric keypad contains the numbers
0
through
9
and alpha characters
A
through
F
, which are used to
activate menu items and enter information such as the IP address.
Next, Prev, Add, Delete Keys
To activate these functions, press and release the
Shift
key, then press the
Next
,
Prev
,
Add
, or
Delete
key.
Use these keys when editing tables such as the PVC Options table.
Shift Key
Enter alpha characters by first pressing and releasing the
Shift
key and then pressing the desired character.
The
Next
,
Prev
,
Add
, and
Delete
keys are also activated by first pressing
Shift
.
To activate a menu item designated by an alpha character rather than a number, place the cursor on the
menu item using the up and down arrows or press and release
Shift
and then press the letter. The flashing
cursor indicates the active parameter. Press
Enter
to select the item.
Front Panel LEDs
With the IQ 710 powered-up, the front panel LEDs provide visual information about the status of the IQ
710 and any option modules that may be installed. Table 1 provides detailed information about the front
panel LEDs.
