5.4 RELIANCE IL — Product Maintenance
NOTICE
Maintenance personnel must refer to the maintenance procedure described in the ICAO Airport Services Manual, Part
9, Airport maintenance practices and in FAA Advisory Circular AC150/5340-26. Below we provide a list of
recommended maintenance tasks to ensure that the equipment is in correct operating condition.

display current values of brightness steps in CCRs
•Control of on-site setting of the units if setting controls are
greater than a10 mn angle
Semiannually •Test of spare parts (HMI)
•HMI test in default condition
•Control of autonomy of specific power supply for substation
(HMI)
•Surge suppressor components (HMI)
•Check of insulation and continuity of the airfield lighting
circuits
•Checks of condition of regulator lighting arresters
•Checks of defect reporting and control/commands of
regulators
•Check of the general condition of cable channels on the
runways
•Check of the inset light connectors: condition of cable and
connector (resistance to traction and watertightness, wear)
