The Control Panel.
Refer to Figure 4.2-1.
1.
Rim Offset Key.
To increase the balancers offset (distance between
the left side of the rim and the balancer cabinet)
shown on the display. Hold down this key to rapidly
increase the value.
2.
Rim Offset and Calibration Key.
To reduce the offset between the internal side of
the rim and the balancer cabinet shown on the dis-
play. Hold down this key to rapidly scroll the val-
ues.
If pressed during power up, will activate the user
calibration function CAL.
3.
Rim Width Key.
Press this key to increase the rim width value shown
on the display.
4.
Rim Width and Gr/Oz Key.
Press this key to reduce the rim width value shown
on the display.
If pressed in combination with the “F” key, will toggle
between readings in ounces (default setting) and
grams.
5.
Rim Diameter Key.
Press to increase the rim diameter value shown on
the display. Hold down to rapidly move through the
values.
6.
Rim Diameter and mm/inch Key.
Press to reduce the rim diameter value shown on
the display. Hold down to rapidly scroll through the
values.
In combination with the “F” key, toggles between
readings in inches (default setting) and millimeters.
7.
ALU Key.
Press to select the balancing weight application
mode (clip weight or tape weight and it’s position
on the rim). The LEDs on the control panel indicate
the balancing weight application combinations. The
unit emits a beep as you toggle through the op-
tions.
8.
Multi-function Key.
Press with the “- Gr/Oz” key to change from “Gr” to
“Oz”.
Press with the “- mm/inch” key to change from “inch”
to “mm”.
Press on its own and it acts like the Enter key.
Hold down for several seconds to activate the OPT
function.
Hold down for several seconds in combination with
ALU button to activate Multiple Operators function.
Hold down for several seconds in combination with
FINE button to activate Counter function.
9.
FINE Key.
Press to toggle the reading precision between 0.25
and 0.1 oz. (5 and 2 grams) . The unit emits a beep.
10.
START key.
Press to start balancer cycle, with the wheel guard
down.
11.
STOP key.
Press to stop wheel rotation.
