Change Transition Between Items in Playlist
The PLAY LIST feature in the Mira Control Surface features a
“
TRAN
S”
flag for each item in the playlist, which determines the transition
type for each item in the playlist. By modifying this flag, users can set whether a “CUT” or “MIX” transition will occur for each item in the
playlist. And when the transition is set to “MIX”, the user may also set the duration of the MIX transition.
NOTE:
When airing a playlist out of one channel, the transitions between playlist items will always be cuts, no matter what value (“MIX” or
“CUT”) is set under the “TRANS” column in
mode.

Tap
button to activate Play List Mode.
(A)
mode opens on selected PGM
channel.

(MORE)
softkey.
(B)
Extended
softkeys appear.

Tap
and
buttons to move
highlighter between clips in the playlist, or use
QWERTY arrow keys.
4.
Tap
(SK5 TRANS)
to toggle
between
CUT
and
MIX
transitions for the
highlighted item in the playlist.
(C)
The value in the
TRANS
column
changes to show either
CUT
or
MIX
.
IMPORTANT NOTE! If a playlist is airing out of
one channel, rather than two channels
(PVW/PGM), then the transitions between
playlist clips will always be cuts, no matter
what value appears in the
“TRANS”
column.
IMPORTANT NOTE! The value in the
“TRANS”
column pertains to the end of the
clip in the row. For example, in the playlist
shown above, the first clip will transition into
the second clip with a cut. The second item will
transition into the third item with a mix.
