Use this procedure to inspect the oil level in gearbox axes 5-6.

Move the robot to where the upper arm is
placed in its calibration position.

DANGER
Turn off all:
•
electric power supply
•
hydraulic pressure supply
•
air pressure supply
to the robot, before entering the robot work-
ing area.

CAUTION
The gearbox can contain an
excess of pres-
sure
that can be hazardous. Open the oil plug
carefully in order to let out the excess pres-
sure.

oil plug, wrist

Note
Open the
oil plug, tilthouse
when inspect-
ing. This will level up oil in axes 5 and 6.

3 ±3 mm below the edge of the oil plug
hole.
