A further adaption of the valve curve is implemented via the limitation of the 
valve control value. The valve output does not react in the upper and lower 
range due to this limitation. Thus for example, a valve movement with a 
minimal heating or cooling requirement can be avoided. 

 

 

Limitation of the valve control value

 

 

A further adaption of the curve can be undertaken in the parameter window 

 

- Curve

 

which is separately adjustable for the heating and the cooling valve. 

The control value can be adapted to the valve characteristic curve using the 
adjustable parameters. The positioning frequency of the valve drive may 
also be reduced by this function. 

A reduction of the positioning frequency reduces the current requirement for 
positioning and increases the service life of the valve. However, a reduced 
positioning frequency will also impair the accuracy of the temperature 
control.
