The logic function is always re-calculated when an object value is received.
Gate function example
•
The GATE logic is programmed so that a disable is implemented as
soon as the communication object
Logical connection x
receives a 0.
•
The output of the logical connection is 0.

The communication object

receives a 0,
i.e. the GATE blocks.
•
The communication object
Switch
receives 0, 1, 0, 1. The output of
the logical connection remains 0.
•
The communication object
Logical connection x
receives a 1,
i.e., the GATE is enabled if it is set in the parameters.
•
The output of the logical connection is recalculated.
Note
If telegrams are received on the communication object
Switch
during the
block, they will not be stored.
For this reason the output or the event remain unchanged when the GATE
is enabled.
The output switches if the GATE is enabled and a telegram is received on
the
Switch
communication object.
