The fan blows air past the heat exchanger and into the room through a filter. 
The air is heated or cooled in the heat exchangers and thus generates the 
desired room temperature.  
The fan is driven by a motor. The motor and the valves are controlled by  
a Room Master. 

The water condensation which results during cooling collects in  
a condensation water trough.

Pipe systems 

A Fan Coil unit can be configured as a 4, 3 or 2 pipe system.
