using PPP connection, PPP connection is a point to point connection
through a line, PC does not dial up and connect network through modem
until the fingerprint device connect with Modem and telephone, then
dial up, then successfully achieve connection network.
[Operations]
1. Please use the marked "Modem" cable that standard provide, establish
link between the fingerprint device and external Modem. By powering
on the fingerprint device and the Modem, access the telephone Modem.
2. Entered the fingerprint device menu, press
Menu -> Option ->
Communications Settings -> Set external modem
, set this option to
Yes
, save it, and then restart the fingerprint device, be sure this function
takes effect.
3. Set a dial-up connection: Follow Windows XP an example to show a
dial-up connection, the process of the setting is as follows.
1) Access to the network connection, the local area connection appears,
as shown below.
