Automatic measurement run
During an automatic measurement run, the CMM travels at the maxi-
mum speed in all three axes. There is an increased danger to people and
the CMM.
WARNING
Risk of injury in case of collision due to faulty automatic mea-
surement run.
Crushing and severing body parts.
Damage to CMM and workpiece.
— Test the automatic measurement run at reduced travel speed.
— Keep the control console within reach in order to be able to press
the EMERGENCY STOP button in cases of emergency.
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to movements at high speed.
Crushing and severing body parts.
— Make sure that you start the right automatic measurement run.
— Keep a safe distance to all moving parts of the CMM.
— Delimit a large area around the working area of the CMM, e.g. by
means of a suitable marking on the floor.
Risk of tripping or stumbling
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to tripping over exposed cables or acces-
sories.
Falling and concussion injuries on head and body.

Cables and accessories must not become a tripping or stumbling
hazard.

Run the cables through cable ducts.

Install accessories securely at the predefined locations.
