The stylus system components have not been damaged.

Fastening the reference sphere holder to the measuring
table

There is a through hole in the base of the reference sphere holder for an
M12 screw.

1 Reference sphere holder

2 Through hole for M12 screw

–

Place the reference sphere holder on the measuring table and screw
it into a threaded hole in the measuring table (max. torque 35 Nm).

Select the position of the reference sphere holder so that the refer-
ence sphere can be probed with all styli.

If it is not possible to qualify certain styli, you may change the orienta-
tion of the reference sphere. Example:

Reference measurement

The position of the reference sphere must be determined before the sty-
lus vector can be determined. Use the master stylus for this purpose.
