CMM starting sequence
Switching the controller on [1]
The controller is switched on via the control console. For this purpose, a
push button is located on the left side of the control console.
– Press the push button .
– Wait for approx. 30 s before switching the drives on.
The waiting time is necessary since the internal computer requires a
certain amount of time for start-up. The booting process must finish
before the drives can be turned on. The LED above the key for the
drives flashes during the booting process. In addition, the ZEISS logo
moves over the display.
Switching the drives on [2]
The drives are switched on via the control console.
– Press the key shown here on the control console.
As soon as the LED above the key lights up, the drives are switched
on.
NOTE
This key is also used for switching the drives off.
Switching the computer on
– Switch on the computer and other peripheral devices, such as the
printer.
The computer boots and the operating system starts.
– Start the measuring software.
