Symbols and labels on support and suspension arm

Friction symbol
Explanation of the braking effect that is achieved by turning the friction 
control. 
- Turn left: Reducing the braking effect
- Turn right: Increasing the braking effect

"Risk of crushing" warning label
Fingers may be crushed. Do not touch this area while moving the surgical 
microscope or parts of it.

Brightness setting
If the light source is turned on, the brightness can be continuously set by 
turning the brightness control of the fiber illumination:
- Turn left: Minimum brightness
- Turn right: Maximum brightness

"Maximum load" warning label
The maximum load on the suspension arm must not exceed 7 kg.

Balance of suspension arm
After all accessories have been attached to the surgical microscope, this 
adjustment screw can be used to set the balance of the suspension arm.
- Turn left: Reduce weight
- Turn right: Increase weight
