– You can use access rights (user and password) to the network server or
network computer to control access to the network share.
– Share only the minimum data fields required (e.g. only for the daily re-
quirement or not all patient data).
– Use a separate share with a separate patient area for each S100 / OPMI
pico with SW recording license to prevent problems among the different
devices and users.
– You can change and adjust the network share any time.
– After using the network share, you can disable it again in the network
server.
– Install the current security updates in the network server.
The integrated HD video camera live & streaming is not an archiving system.
Therefore to protect your videos and images, you should secure a proper ar-
chiving system.
Configuring the network connection (default settings)

In the "Network" tab (Main menu > Menu settings > System submenu > Net-
work tab) you can configure the surgical microscope for a network.
The following settings are preinstalled settings. These settings can be
changed by the IT Administrator any time that the network environment re-
quires it.
1 IP settings (static)
IP address: 192.168.0.11
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Standard gateway: 192.168.0.1
