The blue value setting also influences the camera's white balance. see “Per-
forming the white balance (white bal)” on Page 165.
CHROMA submenu In this submenu, you can set the color saturation of the camera in a range
from -10 to +10. To do this, proceed as follows:
• Select the "CHROMA" menu item in the "USER MENU ADVANCED" menu
using the control keys and press the "enter" key.
• Use the control keys to select "SETTINGS".
 The selection is displayed with an arrow.
• Change the color saturation using the control keys.
A chroma setting in the range of ± 0 usually provides the best color im-
pression. Chroma setting is most effective with strongly saturated (bright)
colors. The effect is low with weakly saturated colors.
• Press the "enter" key to save the changes.
 The selection is saved and you return to the "ADVANCED USER SET-
TINGS" menu.
If you do not want to save your changes, return to the "ADVANCED USER SET-
TINGS" menu via "CANCEL". As a result, color saturation will be reset to the
setting present when the submenu was opened.
COLOR ANGLE submenu In this submenu, you can set the color angle (hue) of the camera in a range
from -10 to +10. To do this, proceed as follows:
• Select the "COLOR ANGLE" menu item in the "USER MENU ADVANCED"
menu using the control keys and press the "enter" key.
• Use the control keys to select "SETTINGS".
 The selection is displayed with an arrow.
• Change the color angle using the control keys.
• Press the "enter" key to save the changes.
 The selection is saved and you return to the "ADVANCED USER SET-
TINGS" menu.
If you do not want to save your changes, return to the "ADVANCED USER SET-
TINGS" menu via "CANCEL". As a result, the color angle will be reset to the
setting present when the submenu was opened.
BLACK LEVEL submenu This submenu allows setting the black level of the camera in a range from -10
to +10. To do this, proceed as follows:
