Stream Multiple Resolutions
The Z3-MVE-250 supports simultaneous encoding and streaming into up to three different resolutions and
bitrates from one video source input. Each output stream can be set using a separate channel tab.
When using all three channels, the maximum resolutions supported are one channel at 1080p60, one
channel at 720p60 and one channel at 360p30.

Verify the unit is connected to a video source.

Open the user interface (See Section 6.3).

Change the Operating Mode to “Encode 1 to 3 Ch” using the dropdown menu in the lower right
corner of the screen.
Each output stream can be set using a separate channel tab. If the CH2 or CH3 tabs are not present, you
can create them by clicking on the
+
tab.

Select the desired video source, HDMI or SDI. This should be the same for all channels.

Set each channel to your desired output resolution and bitrate. Remember not to exceed the
maximum resolutions combination supported.

Click the “start” button in the Channel Controls section of each channel tab or the “Start All”
button at the bottom of any screen to start all channels simultaneously.
