Chapter 8  Error messages 

The following codes appear in the event of an error. Take the corresponding actions specified in the table. If 
any codes other than the following appear or if the error persists even after the following actions are taken, 
contact your vendor. 

Code Cause 

Action 

Battery is low 

 

The battery is running low. 

For the models with dry batteries, get new 
dry batteries, and replace all the dry 
batteries with new ones. For the models with 
the rechargeable battery, recharge the 
battery. 

Battery is dead 

 

The battery has run out. 

For the models with dry batteries, get new 
dry batteries, and replace all the dry 
batteries with new ones. For the models with 
the rechargeable battery, recharge the 
battery. 

Low voltage 

 

The voltage of the AC adapter is 
significantly low. (When the 
optional AC adapter is used for 
the models with dry batteries) 

The AC voltage may be low. 
After connecting it to another power outlet, 
turn on the power. 

Unable to weigh 

 

Measured weight is less than the 
value of 5 scale intervals. 

Press 

. If the platform has been 

removed, install it again. 

Unable to weigh 

 

Measured weight is higher than 
[the weighing ca 6 scale
