[Entering the program number.] 
With the numeric keypad, enter 

‘2’

 as the program number, and then 

press 

 . 

* If the indicated program contains registered data, the blue lamp comes 

on. 

* Press and hold down 

  on the right screen to edit the program data. 

 

The registered program data is called, and work can be started. 
*  You cannot call the settings of an unregistered program number through 

this procedure. 

The CHECK mark indicating the Checkweighing mode comes on in the 
lower left of the display. 

 
 
 
 

5-5. Subtractive 

weighing function 

By setting the user parameter #08 to 

1

, you can use the Subtractive weighing for the following functions. 

 
[Subtractive weighing can be used in the following Multi-functions] 

• Checkweighing function 

* You cannot use the Subtractive weighing function in combination with the Just weight function and the Just 

quantity function. 

• Ranking function 
• Ranking combination function 

* You can only use the Pre-combination Ranking mode. In the Combination Weighing mode, you can only use 

the additive type weight measurement, instead of the subtractive type. 

 
 
In the Subtractive weighing mode, once you put all the items on the instrument, the tare is automatically 
subtracted, and the evaluation by each function is made for the items you removed from the instrument. 
For the Checkweighing function, the condition for proceeding to the next weight measurement after the 
evaluation depends on the user parameter #11. 

 
 
 
 
 

* Do not select the setting values 0, 2, 3, and 5-7. 
When you remove an item for the Ranking function or the Ranking Combination function, the evaluation is made 
after stabilization. When you remove the next item, the evaluation is made on the next item. 
 

[Note for Subtractive weighing] 

• The Subtractive weighing cannot be used for transactions or certifications stipulated by the Measurement Act 
regardless of the Multi-function. 

 

*  If "NOT LEGAL" is displayed in the lower left of the panel, you cannot 

use the results for transactions or certifications stipulated by the 
Measurement Act.
