Counting function - How to set the unit weight through easy setup

Set the user parameter #01 to
4
on the user parameter setting screen in
advance. * For how to set a user parameter, refer to [Section 4-3].
When the Main-display shows 0 (i.e. immediately after startup without
using the Counting function), enter
‘1’ ‘0’
with the numeric keypad (in a
start-up state without using the counting function). Then place 10 items on
the instrument when the Sub-display is blinking.
When the measured weight becomes stable, the unit weight appears on
the Sub-display for an instant, and the PCS sign comes on in the lower
left of the display. It only takes this procedure to register the unit weight of
the items. Then the indication on the Main-display switches from the
measured weight to the number of items. Now, you can proceed with the
work using the counting function.
The measured weight appears on the Sub-display immediately after the
unit weight is displayed (which indicates the net weight of the items
placed on the platform).

When the Counting function is enabled and the Main-display shows 0P,
enter
‘2’ ‘0’
with the numeric keypad. Place the items on the instrument
when the Sub-display is blinking.
* Even if no item is placed, the process goes to the next step in 3 seconds
after the entry.
The indication on the Sub-display switches to [LO 20P]. Now, you can
start work with the lower limit quantity set to 20.
* The upper limit quantity is automatically determined by the settings in
the user parameters #163 and #164. The upper limit quantity is set to
"the lower limit qu 10 items" at default.

[Example] To set the upper limit quantity to 22 when the lower limit quantity is set to 20

When the Counting function is enabled, the lower limit quantity is set, and
the Main-display shows 0P, enter
‘2’ ‘2’
with the numeric keypad. Press
when the Sub-display is blinking.
* Note that, if the blinking continues for 3 seconds, the system
automatically sets the lower limit quantity to the entered value.
