Chapter 6  How to use the Multi-functions

The indication on the Sub-display switches from [HI 22P] to [LO 20P]. 
Now, you can start work with the lower limit quantity set to 20 and the 
upper limit quantity set to 22. 
* If you set the lower limit quantity to another value through easy setup, 

the system updates the upper limit quantity to a value automatically 
determined by the settings in the user parameters #163 and #164. 

 

 
 

  Counting function - How to register the settings in a program through easy setup   

[Example] To register the lower limit quantity (20) and the upper limit quantity (22) set through easy setup, in 

the program 4 

 Operation 

Display 

 

When the Counting function is enabled, the lower limit quantity is set to 20, 
the upper limit quantity is set to 22, and the Main-display shows 0P, press 
and hold down 

. 

 

The program number selection screen appears. With the numeric keypad, 
enter 

‘4’

. Then press 

  to register the currently set unit weight, lower 

limit quantity, upper limit quantity, and preset tare in the program 4. 

 
 

  Counting function - How to register/edit the settings in a program through regular setup   

[Example] To select the program number 8, set the lower limit quantity to 30, set the upper limit quantity to 31, 

and set the unit weight using 10 samples 

 Operation 

Display 

 

Before registering program data, set the user parameter #01 to 4 on the 
user parameter setting screen. * For how to set a user parameter, refer 
to [Section 4-3]. 

 

Turn on the power, and then press 

. 

"PCS" appears, indicating the setting of the Counting weighing function, 
and the last two digits are a program number. 
* When the Main-display shows the program number, pressing 

 

returns to the previous weighing screen. 

* If the indicated program contains registered data, the blue lamp comes 

on. 

 
 

 

[Entering the program number.] 
With the numeric keypad, enter 

‘8’

 as the program number, and then 

press and hold down 

. 

 

 

[Entering the lower limit quantity.] 
With the numeric keypad, enter 

‘3’ ‘0’

 as the lower limit quantity, and then 

press 

. 

* If there is no need to evaluate the quantity using the lower limit, enter 

‘0’

. 

* Pressing 

  on the right screen returns to the program selection 

screen. 

 

[Entering the upper limit quantity.] 
With the numeric keypad, enter 

‘3’ ‘1’

 as the upper limit quantity, and then 

press 

. 

* If there is no need to evaluate the quantity using the upper limit, enter 

‘0’

. 

* Pressing 

  on the right screen returns to the screen for entering
