Chapter 6 How to use the Multi-functions
31
Place items on the instrument.
When the measured weight is lower than 100 g, the blue lamp does not
come on.
[Example] Placing 95g item(s) causes the Main-display to show "-5" g
short of the target value, 100 g.
When the measured weight falls within the range of 100g to 120g, the blue
lamp comes on, indicating that it is an allowable weight.
[Example] Placing 100g item(s) causes the Main-display to show "0" g
deviation from the target value, 100 g.
Blue lamp comes on
When the measured weight is higher than 120g (over the allowable
range), the blue lamp does not come on.
[Example] Placing 132g item(s) causes the Main-display to show "32" g in
excess of the target value, 100 g.
(To return to the screen on which no program is called)
Remove all items from the instrument. When the Zero-point sign comes
on, press
.
* If the Zero-point sign does not come on, you cannot switch the
indications.

How to change the basis of indicated deviation
To switch to the Allowable weight range basis
Operation

By setting the user parameter #166 to
1
on the user parameter setting
screen, you can switch the values shown on the Main-display to the
Allowable weight range basis, for the Fixed weighing function.
* For how to set a user parameter, refer to [Section 4-3].
[Example] The following table shows the indications (of deviations) on the Main-display when the measured
values get close to and exceed 100 g (when the target value is 100 g, the tolerance is 5 g, and the
weighing capacity is 3000 g).
