If the weight of an item is higher than the highest rank, overbars appear in
the rank field instead of its rank number.
In this example, items are sorted from Rank 1 to Rank 6.
Sequentially arrange the rank boxes into which ranked items are put.
* Unless the boxes are arranged in order, you cannot conduct the
combination weight measurement in the next step.
* The ranks are not always arranged in the order of weight increase.

Remove all items from the instrument. When the Zero-point sign comes on,
press .
* If the Zero-point sign does not come on, you cannot switch the
indications.
Ranking combination function - How to weigh items 2 (combination weight measurement)
* Only the additive type weighing can apply to the rank combination weight measurement, regardless of the
setting value of the user parameter #08. You cannot use the subtractive type weighing.
[Example] To proceed with the work when the allowable weight range is set to values between 350g and 450g
as a result of the automatic setting
Operation
Display
* Before performing the combination weight measurement, you need
to complete the Pre-combination Ranking on the previous pages.
Press and hold down
in the Ranking mode to enter the Rank
Combination Weighing mode. The panel shows "Pic.3P" for an
instant, and then switches to the weighing screen.
* If the quantity of combined items is 4, the panel shows "Pic.4P."
Take out each item of 3 adjacent ranks to obtain the total weight in
the allowable weight range of 350 to 450 g.
* Rank 1 and Rank 6 (the final rank) are also adjacent ranks.
(Examples of extraction)
• One item is taken from each of Ranks 2, 3, and 4.
• One item is taken from each of Ranks 6, 1, and 2.
After checking that the Main-display shows 0, place the items taken
out in Step
on the instrument.
When the measured weight falls within the allowable range, the blue
lamp comes on.
When the measured weight falls out the allowable range, carefully
check the selected program and the ranks from which the items
were taken out. After checking the measured weight, remove the
items from the instrument.
* Pressing
in the Rank Combination Weighing mode returns to
the Ranking mode.
