Tilt cylinder and trim cylinder/PTT electrical system

PTT electrical system

Checking the fuse

Check the fuse (80A) for continuity.
Replace if there is no continuity.

Checking the PTT relay

Remove the PTT relay from junction box.

Connect the test harness, and then
check the PTT relay for continuity.
Replace if out of specification.

NOTE:

Be sure to set the measurement range

shown in the illustration when checking for
continuity.

Following [ ] in the continuity chart is indi-
cate color code of the PTT relay.

Connect the digital circuit tester between
PTT relay terminals

and

Connect the light green (Lg) lead to the
positive battery terminal and the terminal

lead to the negative battery terminal

as shown.

Check for continuity between terminals

and

. Replace if there is no continu-

ity.

Connect the digital circuit tester between
PTT relay terminals

and

Connect the sky blue (Sb) lead to the
positive battery terminal and the terminal

lead to the negative battery terminal

as shown.

Check for continuity between terminals

and

. Replace if there is no continu-

ity.
