Crankcase

NOTE:

Apply LOCTITE 572 to the cylinder head
cover bolts before installation.

15. Install the spark plugs temporary tight

then to the specified torque

with a

spark plug wrench.

16. Install the new gasket

and the intake

manifold assembly

, and then tighten

the intake manifold bolts

to the speci-

fied torques in two stages and in the
sequence shown.

17. Connect the hoses as shown below.

Spark plug:

25 N·m (2.5 kgf·m, 18.4 ft·lb)

Intake manifold bolt:

1st: 4 N·m (0.4 kgf·m, 3.0 ft·lb)
2nd: 8 N·m (0.8 kgf·m, 5.9 ft·lb)
