ing using a press.

NOTE:

Be sure to select the reverse gear shim(s) if
replacing the propeller shaft housing, lower
case, or ball bearing.

To select the shims, see “Shimming (regu-
lar rotation model)”.

After installing the reverse gear and
shim(s), check that the reverse gear rotates
smoothly.
