PTT unit

Checking the hydraulic pressure

Check the hydraulic pressure. Check the
internal parts if out of specification.

Fully extend the PTT rams.

Loosen the pipe joints

, and then

remove the pipe joint

Install the special service tools.

NOTE:

Put the PTT unit in the drain pan.

Connect the PTT motor leads to the bat-
tery terminals to retract the trim rams,
and then measure the hydraulic pres-
sure.

Reverse the PTT motor leads between
the battery terminals to fully extend the
rams.

Remove the special service tools.

Install the pipe joints, and then tightening
them to the specified torque.

Connect the PTT motor leads to the bat-
tery terminals to fully retract the trim and
tilt rams.
