*ESR?
return the value of the Standard Event Status Register. The value
returned is a decimal number in the range 0 to 255 representing the
bits of the Register. The register is cleared. <rqs> and <ist> are re-
calculated.

return a string identifying the XMP 2600. The returned string is:

causes the XMP 2600 to suspend further parsing of commands and
queries until all pending operations have finished. Then, the Operation
Complete (opc) event bit of the Standard Event Status Register will be
set.
