This chapter describes all the commands and queries available when programming the
XMP 2600 from a remote controller. The chapter provides a list of Commands and
Queries grouped by category and an alphabetical reference of Commands and Queries.
Categories
This part of the commands and queries reference lists all of them divided into functional
categories.
IEEE 488.1
BUS
Commands
Device Clear .................................. Clear input and output queues. Abort Operation
Complete Hold-Off.
This is the only way to remotely recover from a situation where the XMP
2600 Main Controller is holding off command parsing due to executing
one of the following commands: *OPC, *OPC? and *WAI. This method
is available only with GPIB.
Device Trigger............................... Toggle Global Output Enable On / Off.

*IDN?
return a string identifying the XMP 2600.
*OPT?
return a “1” if the XMP 2600 has a Front.
*RCL
restores settings of all the Power Modules.
*RST
returns the XMP 2600 to its Power On state.
*SAV
stores settings of all the Power Modules.
*SDS
initialize the contents of a storage area.
*TST?
initiates a self-test of the XMP 2600 main control circuits.
BUFCLR
empty the Output Queue.
CHNL?
return installed Power Modules.
CLR
returns the XMP 2600 to its power on state
CONF?
initiates a self-test of the XMP 2600 main control circuits.
DSP
display or remove a message on the XMP 2600 front panel display.
