c. Click Apply after you have made the desired changes.
For example, to change the printer memory setting, scroll through the Installable
options until you see VMOption. Highlight it; then, select the amount of memory on
the printer (see the memory size listed on the printer’s start-up page). Click Apply.
6. Click OK. The Print dialog box reappears. Then, click OK to send the file to the
printer.
Selecting PPD Options (Windows NT/2000/XP)
To configure a printer feature from the Print dialog box
1. Install and configure the AdobePS printer driver and your printer’s PPD
following the instructions in chapter 3.
2. Choose File: Print . The Print dialog box appears (fig. 4.6).

3. Make sure your printer is selected in the Name box in the Print dialog box (fig.
4.6); then, click Properties.
4. Click the Advanced tab to set printer options (fig. 4.7).
