Version 12.20
:MEASure:EGPRs[:CONTinuous]:MULTislot:RFTX:TEMPlat
Description
Starts a continuous measurement of the ACPM spectrum due to switching transients.
To read out the latest measurement results, use the
:FETCh:EGPRs:RFSP:ACPM:TRANS
command.
Note:
According to GSM specification 05.05, this measurement will be performed on
0, (±)400, (±)600, (±)1.200 and (±)1.800 kHz offset from the carrier. All measure-
ments will be performed with a measuring bandwidth of 30 kHz. For additional infor-
mation, also the measurement values of the 30 kHz windows below and above the
frequencies specified by GSM standard 05.05 will be delivered back. This adds up to 9
x 3 = 27 measurement result values returned.
Query
The query form of this command starts the measurement and delivers a string, con-
taining 27 measurement result values separated by commas. These 27 measurement
result values are floating point real numbers with the physical dimension dBm.
Example
:MEAS:EGPRs:CONT:RFSP:ACPM:TRANsient?
In this case, a measurement of the modulation spectrum will be performed. As soon
as the measurement has been completed, a string will be delivered back containing
27 floating point real numbers.
Syntax
:MEASure:EGPRs[:CONTinuous]:MULTislot:RFTX:TEMPlate
Parameters
There are no parameters.
Description
Checks repetitively the TX bursts against the power/time template (PTT). To read out
the latest measurement result, use the
:FETCh:EGPRs:MULTislot:RFTX:TEMPlate
command.
Note:
The power/time templates are user-definable and can be set up using the
:CALC:EGPRs:RFTX:TEMP
commands.
Query
The query form of this command starts the check and returns measurement results as
soon as the check has been completed. The string delivered back contains an integer
number indicating the number of time slots measured, followed by boolean numbers
signaling in turn possible violation of the PTT for the rising edge, for the first slot
(active part), for the first transition period, ...for the last burst (active part), and for
the falling edge.
A
0
indicates no violation of the PTT, while a 1 means that a burst measured violated
the PTT.
Example
:MEAS:EGPRs:CONT:MULT:RFTX:TEMP?
For two TX bursts measured, an example of the string returned is: "
2,0,1,0,0,0
"
indicating a PTT violation in the active part of the first burst.
