For using these footswitching input sockets for functions other than default, user must manually

When using footswitching electrodes user must connect footswitches to corresponding ports on the
rear panel.

As shown in this example, user can connect either handswitching or footswitching electrodes (Pencil)
in Monopolar socket. Input: footswitch is connected to the Monopolar 1 footswitching socket on the
rear panel.
