6.24. Install Upper Plenum Sheets

In this step you will begin the installation of plenum sheets on the upper part of the rafters.

1. Position the first upper plenum sheet on a set of upper rafter bolt holes (using the sheet locators to align

the bolt holes in the sheet).

2. Bolt the upper plenum sheet through the sheet and the rafter bolt holes.

3. Continue to install the sheets next to the one most recently installed, overlapping all sheets in the same

direction.

4. Use 1/2” x 1” hex drive truss bolts (90100490) and 1/2” flanged nuts (028002).

5. Leave out the top two horizontal rows of holes in the upper plenum sheets at this time.

6. Install grain band posts where they should be located during this operation.

7. Continue this operation, until all upper sheets are installed.
