Note

This bin requires a pump or winch unit, which is used to raise and lower the dump hopper chutes.
These chutes control the grain flow from the plenum floor into the grain storage.

2. Select the plan location where the pump or winch unit will be installed on the bin sidewall.

3. Orient the plenum peak ring so the peak ring cross member will be (approximately) perpendicular to the

cable that will run to the pump or winch unit location. (The cable and pump or winch unit will be installed
later). See

6.15. Assemble Rafter Pre-Assemblies

1. Select one-half of the rafter channels and set them up to be used as left-hand (LH) rafters, facing right (with

their flanges to the left).

2. Install rafter brackets on the left-hand rafters as shown in

Orient the left-hand (LH) rafter brackets so they are mounted on the outside of the channel, with the
bracket channel pointing in the same direction as the rafter channel flange.

3. Select one-half of the rafter channels and set them up to be used as right-hand (RH) rafters, facing left (with

their flanges to the right).

4. Install rafter brackets on the right-hand rafters as shown in
