11 Rear panel I/O

This chapter describes all rear panel functionality. Besides the main power inlet, the 3465
Detector has five connectors on the rear panel for communication, data output, and I/O.

11.1 USB B connector

USB type B connector for serial instrument control over USB; for service use only:

• Based on USB-to-serial UART interface using the FT232R chip from FTDI (Future Technology
