COMMS  

Added error trapping and retry to the sync parts lists, program download, results to 
server and printing. 
Added the ability to temporarily disable printing in the event of a print failure. 
Added the ability to temporarily disable results to server in the event of 
communications failure. 
Ethernet TCP/IP speed has been improved. 
Firmware update now only supported over direct USB, NOT RS232. 
Audit and Diagnostic results saving now corrected. Any tests of these two types, on 

a “not

-run cy

cle”  will be logged as PASS and with a numerical results of 1E

-15 for 

easy identification in the results. 
 

GUI / Display  

ALL Major GUI upgrade, simplifying the work flow, providing larger touch areas, and 
a more responsive user experience. 
DISPLAY All pop-up messages are removed in favour of error screens. 
EXECUTE Added a grid + second column background to the parts list screen. 
EXECUTE Improved filtering on part list to only show matches. 
EXECUTE The progress bar for program execution now shows as green when 
passing and red when failing. 
KEYBOARDS Changed the keyboard architecture to have a unified keyboard rather 
than three selectable keyboards. 
KEYBOARDS Moved the backspace button to the keyboard instead of being a soft 
key. 
KEYBOARDS Moved the SYNC PARTS button from the main layout to a soft key. 
KEYBOARDS Removed the symbol/numbers toggle from the primary keyboard. The 
position has been replaced by the hyphen character, which is the only acceptable 
symbol for program selection. 
OTHER Added a blinking ':' character to the clock to demonstrate that the processor 
is still active. 
OTHER Added a blinking cursor to text entry screens. 
OTHER Added a clear text entry button to the text entry screens. 
OTHER Added a compensation prompt to the first run process to save user time. 
OTHER Added a learning message to the first run of a part. 
SN/BATCH/OP Added a master SN/BATCH/OP screen instead of accessing

SN/BATCH/OP are now part of the standard layout rather than the program 
execution title bar. 
SN/BATCH/OP Downloading a program causes the UI to progress to SN/BATCH/OP 
screen instead of directly to the execution screen. 
SOUND Continuous beep on fail is now selectable. 
STOP ON FAIL Improved the flow of the text on the stop on fail screen 
STOP ON FAIL The background colour for RETRY, CONTINUE and RUN TO END 
keys is now darker when selected - RUN button is then used to execute one of the 
three choices 
SETUP The server and network configurations are now independent menus.
