Command format:

Parameters:

a:

selected axis (optional); 'A' - 'D'. If no axis specified, 'A' is
assumed.

n:

number of data values to read. If no number specified, '1' is
assumed.

x:

rate commands in scaled-binary coded angle format. See paragraph
A.4 for the format style. When the axis is scanning, this command
sets the following:

For independent axis scan: The angular velocity of the axis.

For raster scan:

The step size for the axis when the other
axis reaches its scan amplitude

Response:

Input/Output Port Messages

A.2.5.1

Digital Output Port Mask On

This command allows the host computer to set a mask of bits ON in either digital output port.
The bit fields for output are the same as in the DO command. If a bit in the data written is a logi-
cal one, then that output will be turned ON. All outputs whose bits are zero are left unchanged.
This allows individual outputs to be turned ON without having to keep track of the state of all
outputs. The ACU is responsible, however, for turning OFF any outputs which are paired with
any selected output in a mutually exclusive sense.
