d4,d5: digital status inputs (as in DI R2 command)

d6,d7,d8:

If an autotrack demod is present, two or three additional val-
ues are output. The first is the current autotrack demod
status (see below). The second is the currently selected
tracking receiver AGC. If the axis pointer is A or B, the
third is the autotrack demod error for that axis. No error is
output for axis C or D. All values are output as 16-bit hexa-
decimal values.

Demod status bits are assigned as follows: the most signifi-
cant 12 bits contain the same information as if an AMD
read were done (see paragraph for AMD). The lower 4 bits
reports demod status as:

bit 3       = acquisition status (1 = ACQ)

bits 2,1,0  = current receiver channel being used for track-
ing (1 through 7)
