Chapter 3 - Operation 

The rate limit does not affect the slew rate capability but does 
limit the effective rate generated by changing position 
commands received by the servo from the front panel or a 
remote computer. Setting the rate limit arbitrarily small will 
prevent the system from following rapidly changing target 
positions. 

Refer to Figure 3.9. These softkeys select axis limit parameters for travel and 
rate.

3.3.16 Control Menus 

Refer to Figure 3.10.  Selections in the control menu affect global settings of 
the controller and are independent of which side of the display is used to set 
them and independent of the active axis for that side of the display.
