Chapter 5 - Maintenance

5.6.13 Fan Assembly Removal

High voltages are used in the operation of this equipment.
Prior to working on the equipment ensure that all electrical
power is off. Failure to observe this warning may result in
serious injury or death to personnel.

NOTE

This removal procedure will require a support surface to be
placed in front of the digital controller chassis.

a) Remove cover from chassis (refer to paragraph 5.6.2).

b) Refer to drawing 578460 (Indoor Enclosure Assembly) and drawing

528771 (Fan Assembly) for removal and installation procedures.

c) Disconnect fan assembly power cable.

d) Remove four screws, four nuts and eight washers that secure the fan

assembly to the enclosure rear panel.

e) Remove fan assembly.

5.6.14 Fan Assembly Installation

a) Install fan assembly into the enclosure rear panel. Align the mounting

holes.

b) Install four screws, four nuts, and eight washers to secure the fan

assembly to the enclosure rear panel.

c) Connect fan assembly power cable.

d) Replace cover on chassis and secure with three screws.
