OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS – IPI

STOP!

Read the safety information above.

2. This appliance is equipped with an ignition device which automatically lights the burner. Do not try to

light the burner by hand.

3. Wait five (5) minutes to clear out any gas. Then smell for gas, including near the floor. If you smell

gas,

STOP!

Follow the safety information on the prior page. If you do not smell gas, go to next step.

4. Press the wall switch to the "ON" (-) position. Sparker will spark and pilot flame will light.
5. Once pilot flame is established, the main burner flame will light automatically.

6. If the pilot will not stay lit after several tries, turn the master switch to "OFF" and call your service

technician or gas supplier.

TO TURN OFF GAS TO APPLIANCE

1.  Turn Wall Switch to "OFF".
2.  Turn Master Switch to "OFF".
3.  Turn off all electrical power to the appliance if service is to be performed.
