This screen provides a list of your contact na m es and their outbound connectivity details. It
also lets you add or edit your contacts as necessary.
Screen Colu m n Descriptions:
ID - An auto m atically assigned identifier nu m ber
Na m e - Contact na m e
E-Mail - E m ail address of the contact entry
Mode m - Co m puter m ode m phone nu m ber of the contact entry
Fax - Fax m ode m phone nu m ber of the contact entry
Satellite/Connect - Satellite connection string and satellite COM port of contact entry
Re m ote Host Address and Port - Re m ote host TCP/IP address and port of the contact entry
Adding/Editing a Contact
1. Do the following:
• If editing a contact, touch a record to
m odify (a check m ark appears next to the entry), then
touch
Actions>Edit Contact

• If adding a contact, touch
Actions>Add Contact
.
2. Enter or edit infor m ation in the appropriate fields below:
Name
- Label for this contact.
Email
- E m ail address of contact
Modem
Modem # (Computer)
- Phone nu m ber of the m ode m
Modem COM Port
- Co mm Port of the m ode m installed on the console
Modem Dial-Out String -
Add an alternate m ode m dial-out initialization string that
overrides the one stored in the Co mm Device Setup screen. Leave this field blank to use
the m ode m dial-out initialization string stored on the Co mm Device Setup screen.
NOTE: The Co mm Device Setup screen m ust be changed on the console directly.
Modem Number of Retries
- Nu m ber of ti m es the console atte m pts to connect if
the last connection atte m pt fails.
Modem Retry Delay Time
- A m ount of ti m e to wait between retry atte m pts.
FAX
FAX # (Computer)
- Phone nu m ber of the Fax
m achine.
FAX COM Port
- Co mm Port of the Fax m ode m
installed on the console.
FAX Dial-Out String - Add an alternate m ode m dial-
out initialization string that overrides the one stored in
the Co
